FAQs

  • Bicycle road racing is full of traditions. Over time, some of those traditions have been refined into a set of informal rules. The Rules of Cycling. They state among other things how tan lines are to be maintained (crisp), what color shorts are to be (black) and how the number 13 is to be worn, should one be (un)lucky enough to draw that number: The best way to counter the bad luck associated with 13 is to wear the number upside down.

Considering the office where my business first got started was number 13, it seemed fitting to christen the business Studio 13 and to flip the 13 upside down given most of my prints at the time were cycling related.

To cyclists who spot my sign while riding or passing by, they can be pretty certain that they'll find something cycling related inside.
