Lurking behind the name Studio 13 is me, Chris Schmidt, a bike-racing, cross-country-skiing translator and graphic designer lucky enough to have called the Keweenaw home for twenty of the past thirty years. I've been creating race posters, t-shirts and various forms of clandestine cycling propaganda, shooting photos and organizing underground races since high school and have no plans to stop any time soon. I live in Houghton, Michigan, with my wife Rhiannon and bike-riding, ski-racing daughter, Esme.
