Long out of commission, the slowly decaying Quincy Smelter takes on a fresh look with the first snow of the season, the rusting roofs frosted with snow. The copper that passed through the building is long gone, but there is hope that the building may one day be restored and serve as a visitor center for the Keweenaw National Historical Park.
