What's not to like about Mont Ripley: lighted ski hill right in town with two chair lifts, a tow rope and snow making capabilities (on top of 275" snow per year). Relatively inexpensive passes, killer views, short lift lines and terrain parks for those so inclined. My favorite view from the hill is of the lift bridge, nestled against the backdrop of Houghton's houses, seemingly stacked on town's steep hillside. 2.4x3.5 stickers.
